Troubleshooting
The things that actually go wrong, and what they mean.
The tools do not appear in my agent
Almost always because the agent was running when the entry was written. All three read their config at startup only. Quit it fully and start it again.
If they still do not appear, check that the app is running. The MCP server is the app. There is no background service.
A tool answers "no such route"
The plugin on that site is older than the app expects. Update it from the WordPress updates screen.
Everything is refused on one site
Three things to check, in order:
- Is the site marked as a reference? Those are read-only at the transport.
- Are the abilities on? They are all off until you turn them on, per site.
- Is the licence active? A revoked licence stops edits within about a minute.
The agent cannot see a site at all
It is unlinked. Unlinked sites are invisible rather than blocked, so the agent is not told there is a site it may not use.
A change did not stick
Look at the ledger. It holds the property-level before and after of every change, so the question of whether the write happened is answerable rather than a matter of opinion.
If the site went down and came back, the watchdog may have reverted it: that happens automatically when the site stops answering and the last change was ours.
The app says the licence cannot be confirmed
That is a network problem, not a licence problem, and the app distinguishes them. A single
failed check changes nothing. If it persists, check that
https://multiagentry.com is reachable from that machine. A corporate proxy that
intercepts TLS is the usual culprit.
Still stuck
Email support@multiagentry.com with what you did and what happened. The ledger and the app's own diagnostics are usually enough to work out the rest.
If a client site is down and you need somebody now, call +92 371 2466114 or message us on WhatsApp.
Reporting a problem lists the five lines that save two or three messages, and the address for a complaint or a suggestion rather than a bug.
